Singapore Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory Full time

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to work on collaborative research projects on improving reproductive health.

Responsibilities:

  • Process clinical samples including RNA, DNA extraction, microbiome isolation
  • Isolate and perform primary cell cultures, directed organoid differentiation
  • Functional analyses using mammalian cells and organoids via CRISPR-Cas9 technology, molecular and cell biology techniques
  • cDNA library preparation for NGS, bioinformatic analysis
  • Analyze clinical and cellular/molecular data to draw associations
  • Assist in manuscript and grant writing, discussion and coordination with external collaborators, including presentation and organizing meetings

Requirements:

  • PhD in Biological Sciences or related fields
  • Expertise in mammalian cell culture work and basic molecular biology (RNA extraction, RT-PCR, qPCR etc)
  • Expertise in organoid culture and differentiation and mutagenesis via CRISPR-Cas9 technology
  • Expertise in cDNA library preparation for NGS and downstream bioinformatic analysis
  • Prior experience in handling clinical samples (eg. Cells, blood, human milk)
  • Meticulous, organized, independent and able to work collaboratively
