Job Position: Senior/Material Control Planner Department: Production Control & Logistics Primary Job Purpose:- Monitor and track supplier purchase orders and forecasts on a timely basis to ensure the availability of materials.
- Liaise with global vendor planners on supplier shipment conformance.
- Coordinate with production planners to ensure level forecast to suppliers.
- Ensure supplier compliance with delivery, services, and procedures.
- Strategize and control materials to meet inventory goals.
- Manage materials stock and transactions using SAP.
- Work with logistics warehouse and production teams on materials movement, planning, and expediting support to customers.
- Coordinate new program start-up activities.
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain with at least 2 years of experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Materials Management.
- Strong coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills.
- SAP experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
Reports To: PC&L Supervisor
