Responsibilities
  • Support the Bank in managing the distributed system changes with change management, control and deployment.
  • Review and assess risk associated with requested change.
  • Make sound decisions on the upstream and downstream impact of change based upon understanding of the Bank’s environment.
  • Establish control processes and procedures to effectively manage change.
  • Drive and contribute to automation initiatives - driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage Operating System Patch management, including evaluation, testing and deployment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
  • Experienced with ITIL methodology, with emphasis on Change and Deployment Management.
  • Proven experience with operating systems, including one or more of the following:
    • AIX
    • HP-UX
    • RedHat Enterprise Linux
    • Solaris
    • Windows Server
    • VMware
    • XenApp
  • Working level experience with various systems applications, including:
    • JBoss
    • WebLogic
    • Websphere
    • Connect Direct
    • MQ
    • Kafka
    • OpenShift Container Platform
    • Webservers
  • Experience with patch management.
  • Experience with automation tools such as BigFix, Chef, etc.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation.
  • Experience in Security Audit assessment on operating systems compliance and vulnerability.
  • Provide On-Call 24x7 support on a rotating basis.
  • Self-starter, flexible, good team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Strong in developing processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Ability to articulate, possess strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
