Overview

Project Manager (In house/ GMP Plant/ Lab/ 8K)

This role is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and entails leading project management initiatives within an in-house GMP plant and laboratory setting.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing and maintaining project management standards: defining processes, methodologies, and best practices for project execution within the organization.
  • Overseeing project managers and teams: providing support, guidance, and mentorship to project managers, ensuring adherence to standards and successful project delivery. Ensure compliance with scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
  • Managing resources: allocating resources (human and financial) effectively to projects, coordinating project resource planning and allocation.
  • Monitoring project progress: tracking status, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Planning and reporting: maintaining master project schedules and dashboards; preparing weekly/monthly status reports and executive summaries; tracking risks, issues, and change requests across active projects.
  • Ensuring strategic alignment: working with senior management to ensure projects align with organizational objectives and contribute to business goals.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration: maintaining open channels between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management; developing and refining project management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring proper documentation of project plans, progress, and outcomes for future reference and learning.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder management: acting as liaison between project teams and senior management; facilitating project review meetings, steering committees, and decision gates; supporting communication plans and change management activities.
  • In essence, a PMO Manager acts as a leader and facilitator, ensuring smooth and effective PMO operation and successful project delivery.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Facilities Management/ Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading projects from inception to completion (with a project value of over $1 million or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
