Senior Manager, Park Operations

Senior Manager, Park Operations (Health & Safety) at Mandai Wildlife Group, within Mandai Wildlife Reserve in Singapore. The role supports the rejuvenation plan to integrate five wildlife parks with nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Responsibilities- Health & Safety (H&S) Management: Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations; review and implement control measures; conduct regular inspections; perform internal audits, gap analyses, and root cause identification; develop and maintain plans and reports for local statutory bodies; coordinate external audits and maintain ISO45001/bizSAFE documentation; liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulations; conduct safety training and awareness programs; act as Secretariat for H&S working and steering committees.
- Fire Safety Management: Appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) for parks and facilities; develop and maintain emergency response plans for new parks/facilities; provide guidance on emergency preparedness and response; plan, design, conduct, and evaluate emergency drills; prepare and submit annual fire safety reports; participate as a key member of the crisis management secretariat team.
- Incident Response and Investigation: Respond to health, safety, and fire-related emergencies; investigate incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions; maintain comprehensive records of incidents and resolutions.
- Collaboration: Work with internal departments and external agencies (e.g., emergency services) to integrate safety measures into operations; support contractor management processes to meet statutory safety requirements; perform other relevant duties as assigned.
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in workplace health and safety management, with supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, fire safety standards, and emergency response protocols.
- Valid certification for Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
