Overview

Principal Acceleration Partner Development Manager, ASEAN, AWS Partner Organisation. This role is within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and focuses on building mind share and broad use of AWS services by strategic partners in the ASEAN region. The candidate will help shape and deliver strategies to accelerate partner initiatives and drive long-term business and marketing opportunities with key partners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a set of strategic business development and growth initiatives to accelerate ASEANs most strategic partnerships in collaboration with Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Managers, Account Teams and ASEAN Sales Leadership.
  • Lead our Executive Connect mechanism with strategic partners and customers to accelerate GenAI and digital transformations with board and C-Suite engagement.
  • Establish, build, and execute strategic planning, initiatives and run-the-business mechanisms to drive acceleration across the organization.
  • Own partner marketing initiatives, aligning partner strategies with the partner marketing plan and sponsoring marketing and strategic communications with partner marketing and PR teams.
  • Act as the voice of the partner to engage with AWS partner sales and core teams to support partner growth through development of new capabilities and services with various AWS teams.
  • Manage and develop multiple Sales and Partner Leadership stakeholder relationships, earning trust by aligning and executing on initiatives that support sales and partner strategies.
  • Contribute to high-quality executive engagements through documentation and coaching of broader teams on written materials.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Location: Open to talents in all ASEAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam). The role will be placed in the location where the talent is based (no relocation required).
