Your Role As a Senior Business Data Cloud Consultant, you will play a strategic role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade data models, visualisations, and business intelligence solutions using SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Your expertise will help clients unify, transform, and visualise enterprise data across SAP and non-SAP systems, supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Your Responsibilities Design scalable and reusable data models and semantic layers in SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud). Develop virtual data models (VDMs), consumption views, and harmonised datasets for use in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other BI tools. Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAC to create interactive dashboards, stories, and analytical applications. Configure and manage live and import connections from SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA, and third-party data sources (e.g., Azure, AWS, APIs). Implement and automate data flows, replication flows, and task chains for efficient data processing. Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and governance across the SAP Business Data Cloud environment. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, data-driven insights. Optimise the performance of data pipelines and SAC visualisations for enterprise-level reporting. Stay current with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) roadmap, including emerging tools such as SAP Joule, SAP Databricks, and AI/ML capabilities. Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, analytics, or BI consulting, with expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAC, and SAP BTP. Proficient in SQL scripting and data modelling within SAP Datasphere; skilled in creating VDMs and harmonised datasets. In-depth knowledge of SAC planning and reporting features, including Value Driver Trees, predictive forecasting, and version management. Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and external platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Familiarity with ABAP CDS views and SAP Data Marketplace is an advantage. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for data quality, lineage, and governance. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; experienced in leading workshops, training sessions, and producing technical documentation.
