About you and this role

Leads Implementation of the EH&S management system including work processes, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory and safety compliance, add value to meet site objectives, and maintain the license to operate. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques and methodology within the analytical technology discipline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative EH&S Support & Compliance: Partners with site teams to provide EH&S support, including permit analysis, regulatory assessments, and inclusive strategies for compliance documentation.
• Inclusive Incident Response & Regulatory Engagement: Engages cross-functional teams in incident investigations and works transparently with regulatory authorities during inspections, audits, and permit negotiations.
• Accessible Environmental Data & Reporting: Collects, interprets, and shares environmental compliance data—such as emissions reporting—in a clear and collaborative manner, while ensuring timely updates to permits.
• Empowering Training & Program Delivery: Designs and delivers EH&S training and programs that are accessible, relevant, and inclusive, while supporting audits and change management processes.
• Systems & Process Enhancement for All: Implements EH&S management systems that add value across teams, streamlines work processes, and promotes consistent operating discipline and documentation.
• Culture Building & Strategic Alignment: Identifies and addresses EH&S culture gaps, fosters a safe and inclusive workplace, and contributes to achieving shared corporate EH&S goals through collaborative project planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, with a preference for those holding higher qualifications, particularly in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in EH&S, chemical laboratory, manufacturing, or a related chemical industry.

Your Skills

• Proficiency in English is essential, as strong communication skills are a must. Additionally, fluency in Arabic is required
• Proactive individual who excels in collaboration and is a true team player.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management
• Well-versed in lab equipment safety and processes.
