Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full post-fixture operations of CPP tanker vessels (e.g. gasoline, jet fuel, diesel)
  • Monitor and coordinate all aspects of the voyage after fixture, including port calls, loading, discharging, deviation, and bunkering
  • Liaise with charterers, shipowners, vessel masters, port agents, surveyors, and terminals
  • Ensure voyage instructions are clearly communicated and executed as per charter party terms
  • Handle cargo documentation and ensure accuracy in Bills of Lading, NORs, SOFs, and ullage reports
  • Monitor vessel schedules, update voyage status, and ensure timely reporting to brokers and clients
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, delays, or claims (e.g. off-spec cargo, demurrage)
  • Support laytime and demurrage claim processes by maintaining detailed and timely records
  • Ensure regulatory and HSSE compliance throughout vessel operations
  • Maintain close coordination with internal chartering/broking teams to support client relationships

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in CPP tanker operations, preferably within a brokerage, operator, or agency
  • Sound knowledge of clean petroleum product cargoes and handling procedures
  • Strong understanding of voyage charter parties, shipping regulations, and port practices
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders across time zones
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and cost monitoring
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with maritime platforms (Q88, Veson IMOS, SeaProc, etc.) is a plus
  • Prior experience in a commercial or brokerage environment
  • Experience liaising with international clients and port agents globally (Asia, Middle East, Europe)
  • Seafaring background (e.g. Deck Officer) or experience with chemical/CPP tanker fleets is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
