Job Description

About the role:
The Associate Director Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls Management is responsible for leading and managing the engineering operations within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met in production processes. By optimizing chemical processes and implementing safety protocols, this role contributes to Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world.

* Implements safety protocols diligently, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety standards.
* Optimizes chemical processes to maximize efficiency and product quality, applying innovative solutions.
* Coaches and develops team members, enhancing their skills and aligning their growth with organizational needs.
As a leader of a functional area or organization, you will set objectives, delegate tasks, and ensure operational success, with reviews by senior management. You will also help shape company policies, tackle complex problems, and meet budgets and schedules. Your responsibilities include managing projects, influencing organizational goals, maintaining frequent communication with peers and customers, and leading teams and projects, serving as a best practice/quality resource.
