In this role, the focus will be on promoting a 'Platform First' philosophy, fostering the development of a platform that is cohesive, API-accessible, and ensures a uniform user experience. Furthermore, the role involves assisting in ensuring the Platform yields significant insights into customer product interactions, potentially leading to new revenue opportunities and customized user experiences. In the team you will be helping to own and build a Licensing platform that has direct and positive impact to millions of Autodesk customers. When any of Autodesk's customer Try, Buy or Access any of our products and services, their licensing experience will be powered by the platform that you build.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly available and scalable platform using AWS services
• Design and build observability solutions (monitoring, tracking, logging, alerting) from an operational excellence standpoint
• Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications; serverless approaches like AWS Lambda are an added advantage
• Knowledge of Terraform is beneficial
• Design, build and maintain efficient, secure, reusable and reliable code
• Develop solutions portable across platforms
• Apply continuous attention to technical excellence and good design to reduce complexity
• Write test automation and enable frequent incremental releases using CI/CD pipelines
• Promote sound engineering design, process and quality practices
• Experience with Datadog monitoring is an added advantage

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively through an agile development process
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Docker and Terraform is a must
