Job Title: Senior Engineer - Server administrator

Position Overview:
The Senior Engineer will provide technical support for a range of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues within the organization. This role involves managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and administration for Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022 Servers, Microsoft Active Directory/ADFS/DNS/DHCP, Office 365, Red Hat Linux Servers, and AWS Cloud Environment.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools, including system and file restoration as needed.
  • Monitor system alerts and provide daily technical support to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network/system issues.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to apply regular system and security patches in a timely manner.
  • Perform ad-hoc root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Assist the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager in system capacity planning and management.
  • Monitor IT tickets and provide appropriate resolutions within established timelines.
  • Adhere to standard IT service delivery processes and follow IT policies and procedures.
  • Support coordination of internal and external IT audits for IT infrastructure.
  • Assist with defining methods for issue resolution and prevention alongside the immediate superior.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in system administration and cloud operations.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware.
  • Proficient in Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Office 365.
  • Experience with Oracle and MSSQL Database management is required.
  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • ITIL Certification Foundation Level is a plus.
  • Availability for standby duties and system maintenance activities after office hours, when required.
