Assistant/ Vice President

We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven individual to join our dynamic team as Assistant/ Vice President – Credit Control. In this key leadership role, you will play a critical part in optimizing our credit risk framework, driving collections performance and supporting the company’s financial health and growth objectives. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for building strong credit governance, apply with us today Responsibilities Lead and manage the credit control team to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. Review aging reports regularly and initiate appropriate collection actions. Develop and implement credit control policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure department’s effectiveness. Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, credit risk) to resolve billing or payment disputes. Work closely with legal counsel on debt recovery when necessary. Prepare monthly management reports on collection performance. Maintain strong relationships with key customers while ensuring compliance with company credit terms. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements. Motivate, train and coach the junior executive. Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in credit control, with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Strong understanding of credit risk management and collection techniques. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Secured Loans handling will be advantageous. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Analytical and detail-oriented. Good leadership with strong problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
