A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Solutions Engineer to oversee and bring expertise to our team. • General: Responsible for all electrical related technical solution engineering for major Data Center Projects in APAC. Develop and manage complete scope from initiation to onsite delivery of mechanical systems related to the diesel genset enclosure.
• Tendering Matters: Define the technical scope (mechanical) with sales. Review/clarify customer specifications and tender documents. Review and finalize the C/D/E document. Provide the technical specifications and define the scope of supply for the equipment. Coordinate with factory and local suppliers to harmonize the scope of supply. Work with suppliers/contractors to quote for the equipment and obtain proposals timely.
• Solution Engineering Matters: Define the electrical systems requirements for walk-in genset enclosures suitable for project needs. Provide the design and prepare drawings and documents for customer technical requirements. Calculate, verify, and select the right equipment/suppliers. Use engineering tools/database and factory standards for the solution engineering work. Maintain product and solution engineering information. Prepare and carry out technical presentations and training.
• Order Execution: Verify and confirm shop drawings, P&ID, datasheets, and similar documents to ensure customer specification compliance. Finalize equipment scope and specifications; procure equipment with internal departments. Raise purchase requisitions for the scope of supply. Support the execution team to resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during project execution. Participate in design reviews and lessons learned, providing insights to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Other Matters: Update knowledge of market and internal product developments. Travel overseas on business when required. Special assignments as needed.

• University/college studies in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in the diesel engine/generator industry (minimum 5 years) with a track record of delivering projects and solutions.
• Solid understanding of cooling, fuel, and ventilation systems of a diesel generator set and ability to integrate into genset enclosure design.
• Knowledge of engineering calculations for genset mechanical systems (e.g., sizing calculations).
• Ability to conceptualize and execute complex mechanical designs and deliver cost benefits to customers.
• Knowledge of data centers, switchgear, and electrical power protection is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Asian cultures and business practices. Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Willingness to travel for onsite jobs as needed.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software and English language.
