OverviewA Magic Circle firm is seeking a talented M&A/Private Equity Associate with 1-3 years of PQE to join its highly regarded team in Singapore. Known for its expertise in handling complex cross-border transactions, the firm offers an exceptional platform for associates to work on high-profile deals for a global client base.
The RoleIn this role, you will advise on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and other corporate transactions. This position provides exposure to cutting-edge deals and the opportunity to collaborate with leading professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Support management of the Group’s Operating Assets in Asia Pacific and M&A transactions (Associate level).
- Provide project management and execution support on complex transactions and prepare presentation materials to communicate key information.
- Work in collaborative teams analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel; liaise with client executives, lawyers and financial professionals as required.
- Assist in preparing investor presentation packages and developing financial models to ascertain valuation of target companies.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members; participate in deal execution and project management; contribute to pitches and engagements.
- Assist in pre-deal and confirmatory due diligence and support deal execution activities.
- Work on cross-border transactions and complex private equity investments.
- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in M&A or private equity.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Experience with cross-border transactions, preferably from a top-tier firm.
- Exceptional analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
