Overview As the Deputy Director (Digital Engagement and Strategic Communications), you will be leading a team to shape purposeful digital and traditional communications engagement with youths in Singapore through integrated communications strategies and partnerships, while driving public awareness of government youth initiatives. Responsibilities Strategise, design and operationalise intentional and purposeful digital/traditional comms engagement and re-engagement of youths in Singapore complementing the physical engagement touchpoints by Whole-of-Government ministries and agencies. Develop and maintain partnerships with government and non-government organisations to co-produce digital content that is useful and relevant for digital engagement of youths. Build an effective system of digital tools and delivery channels/platforms to acquire and sustain engagement of youths. Drive integrated 360 communication strategies to amplify awareness and visibility of NYC and sub-divisions (OBS and YCS) programmes platforms, to ensure good mindshare and healthy participation, and general public and youth awareness of what government is doing for youth, where the opportunities are and how the rest of society can contribute to youth development. Provide strategic counsel on key publicity initiatives, crisis management and public relations initiatives Qualifications The ideal candidate should have strong digital engagement and partnership development expertise with the ability to develop and execute digital engagement and integrated communication strategies while leading teams effectively. Strong team player with at least 10 years of supervisory experience Expertise in digital engagement, partnership development and marketing communications Experience in communications including media relations, crisis management, corporate communications and digital media Strategic thinking capability with strong attention to detail Strong analytical, writing and interpersonal communication skills Proven track record in stakeholder management and partnership development Experience in youth development and engagement programmes would be advantageous.
