Technical Director Product Engineering, Platform Services

• As a Technical Director at our organization, you will be responsible for leading our software engineering teams to deliver innovative and high-quality products, with a primary focus on platform services that support our OTT video streaming applications. Your role will involve providing technical and line management for engineering squads aligned to platform services such as Accounts, Entitlement, Subscription, Event Metadata, and Video Workflow orchestration.Your key responsibilities will include defining and maintaining technical direction for the engineering squads, collaborating with architects to design scalable solutions, driving technical innovation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software, overseeing technical roadmaps, leading and developing a team of engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards, and promoting agile methodologies and DevOps principles.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in software engineering and 4 years in a leadership role. You should possess strong technical expertise in software architecture, design patterns, modern development frameworks, microservices architectures, and cloud-native solutions. Additionally, you should have excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.We are looking for someone who is driven, communicative, reliable, passionate about technology, proactive, and technically proficient.
