Investing globally via pre-IPO and early-stage deals, the team works at the intersection of public interest and private market performance—fueling long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to step into a contract role within a high-calibre legal team, supporting a senior team member on temporary leave. The work is wide-ranging and will include:

  • Acting as legal business partner to the investment teams, providing timely and pragmatic counsel during deal evaluation and execution.
  • Leading legal aspects of transactions end-to-end—term sheets, due diligence, negotiation of definitive documents, regulatory review, and closings—with support from external counsel as required.
  • Advising on fund- and portfolio-related governance and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Supporting internal legal risk management, policy reviews, corporate secretarial coordination and general corporate legal matters.
  • Working closely with colleagues across corporate functions and contributing to ongoing improvements in internal processes.
  • Ensuring that records and filings for corporate secretarial obligations (primarily Singapore-based) are accurately maintained and timely.

Requirements

  • Legally qualified (Singapore Bar preferred; Commonwealth-qualified lawyers will be considered).
  • 2+ PQE in corporate/M&A or investment-related work, ideally with exposure to venture capital or private equity transactions.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a practical, business-minded approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a lean team structure and contribute across multiple workstreams.
  • Familiarity with Singapore regulatory frameworks, AML/PDPA considerations, and corporate governance is advantageous.
  • Experience in corporate secretarial or board documentation work (or willingness to pick this up) is a plus.
