Sales Engineering Analyst Senior – EBANX EBANX believes in doing whatever it takes to make our merchants successful, and the Sales Engineer helps drive that success every day. The EBANX Integration team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer (SE) to play a key role within the Operations department. This SE will join a team responsible for providing technical consulting, supporting, and product guidance to merchants looking to integrate EBANX as a payment processing service in Latin America. This Merchant‑facing role works in conjunction with both pre‑ and post‑sales teams in APAC, facilitating negotiations and technical solutions by performing technical selling of EBANX products and services. We are looking for a dynamic individual with fast, innovative thinking to deliver strong communication, excellent merchant interaction, and exceptional troubleshooting skills. The right person will have solid business acumen and can thrive in a highly collaborative team environment. Your day‑to‑day impact Work closely with the Commercial Team to understand complex merchants’ needs and define the best technical solution. Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product will meet merchant needs. Provide pre‑sales technical assistance and product education. Persuade merchants that a product or service will best satisfy their needs. Work with key internal stakeholders, including Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Development teams to address specific merchant business requirements or new product features. Prioritize, communicate, and mitigate issues and risks with internal and external stakeholders promptly and clearly. Handle post‑live communication and follow‑ups with relevant stakeholders. Act as the main technical point of contact for all implementation‑related activities throughout the integration lifecycle. Facilitate setting up merchant accounts, provide technical support, and guide merchants through testing and pre‑launch activities. Must‑haves to shine in this role Relevant experience in integrations and a deep understanding of APIs. Broad understanding of technical concepts and payment processing. Excellent communication skills to translate API/technical terms to business/corporate stakeholders. Ability to successfully interact and dynamically adapt to communication styles with all levels of audiences, including managers, and technical/IT staff. Ability to quickly assess and troubleshoot merchant integration issues. Effective time management skills to work with multiple customers simultaneously. Ability to function independently and in a team environment. English proficiency. Bonus points if you have Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers within client organizations to understand their business objectives and align our payment solutions accordingly. Experience in the payments market, e‑commerce, or similar industries. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team, promoting knowledge sharing. Collaborate with the compliance and risk management teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
