Overview

A&G KM is looking for an Associate (or Legal Executive, Foreign Law) to join our team. The KM department is one of the most established KM departments in Singapore, supporting A&G Asia and our clients with legal updates and knowhow, webinars and seminars, and publications.

Responsibilities
  • Working with lawyers across practices to develop precedents, knowhow, guidelines, and manuals
  • Drafting primers, articles, and other items on legal and regulatory topics
  • Editing internal and external publications
  • Co-ordinating and developing training programmes and materials
  • Managing KM systems and processes
  • Providing KM support for Firm-wide initiatives and projects
Qualifications
  • A good law degree from a reputable law school (civil or common law)
  • At least three years of practice experience in a law firm, with a preference for non-litigation practice
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in an Asian language may be an advantage
  • Excellent drafting, research, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team orientation and willingness to work with lawyers across diverse practices and business services teams, including those within our regional network
  • Interest in regional legal developments, in particular, Southeast Asia and China
  • Interest in legal technology and innovation
  • Enthusiasm to pursue a career in knowledge management in the legal industry
  • Eagerness to learn about and contribute toward a law firm's knowhow, publications, and learning initiatives
