- ** Company Secretary**
- Convening and servicing annual general meetings (AGM)/meetings (producing agendas, taking minutes; conveying decisions etc), ensuring policies are kept current, are approved, and that company members are aware of their implications, e.g legal.
- Administering pension schemes and share issues.
- ** Maintenance and updating of corporate profile for each of the subsidiaries**
- Maintaining current awareness about company law.
- ** Legal Consultation**
- Responsible for providing legal advice & services,
- ** Contract Review**
- Drafting, reviewing and revising all general legal contracts for all affiliates of the Company and ensuring compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- ** Litigation**
- Negotiating and/or dealing with the Vendor/ Supplier/ Partner/ Merchant about any legal issues.
- Taking legal proceedings in both civil and/or criminal cases.
- Responsible for overall proceedings of the litigated cases and dispute resolutions as well as coordinating with external lawyers and any related government sectors such as the Court, Police Station, Criminal Investigation Department (Technology Division), Monetary Authority of Singapore, Criminal Investigation Department, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law
- At least 6 years of experience in legal and compliance, **exposure of legal environment in Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines will be advantageous**.
- At least 3 years of experience in the financial services **or fintech **industry
- Detail oriented, accurate, strong principle awareness, ability to work well under pressure, strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge in financial law and regulations
- Proven ability to work independently and self-sufficiently on assigned tasks
- Good connection with government offices related to financial services administration
