This is a newly created Tax Manager, APAC position that will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all tax matters for the industrial and manufacturing operations across the Asia Pacific region. As a strategic partner to cross‑functional teams, the role will be instrumental in shaping the regional tax strategy and supporting market expansion, including M&A and international growth initiatives. The organisation is a prominent player in the industrial and manufacturing sector, with a strong presence across the Asia Pacific region. It operates at a significant scale, offering a robust platform for professionals to contribute to impactful projects. Description Reporting to the Global Tax Head, you will: Oversee the full spectrum of tax matters across APAC, including advisory, planning, compliance, transfer pricing, and customs planning Collaborate with global finance leaders to implement tax strategies, mitigate risks, and optimise tax savings Ensure robust tax reporting and compliance frameworks, including BEPS Pillar Two implementation and audit readiness Structure operations to meet tax incentive conditions and liaise with authorities to maximise benefits Lead tax planning for market expansion, M&A, and cross‑border transactions Manage tax controversy and dispute resolution, including settlement strategy and post‑audit remediation Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on the company's operating model Profile Degree qualified in Accounting, with at least 12 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory across the APAC region Strong foundation built with a Big 4 accounting firm, followed by in‑house experience with MNC, preferably from industrial or manufacturing sector Proven track record leading senior leadership through successful M&A and international expansion initiatives Technically strong, with deep understanding and application of regional tax legislation and international tax principles Demonstrates a self‑starter mindset and strong problem‑solving capabilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external authorities Job Offer Newly created opportunity with a leading industrial and manufacturing organisation in Asia Pacific Strategic tax leadership role based in Singapore Defined career development programme with exposure to senior leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
