Manage information systems within the HR function. Develop, implement and maintain information systems (IT HR) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. Maintain internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff. Work with Human Resources personnel to evaluate software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing systems to meet changing demands. Plan and direct the establishment and ongoing administration of Human Resources Information Systems to support short- and long-range Human Resources goals. Oversee the specification, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and policies and procedures for internal use. Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors and ensure the development of proper training and documentation for system use and maintenance. Often consults with other divisions or department management in developing company-wide use of HRIS salary planning and reporting functions. Establish data tables, structures, files, interface requirements, configuration and data integrity protocols for ongoing administration. Project management responsibilities include timeline, resource, communications, facilitating meetings, and completion of major programs. Manages all phases of a program from inception to completion. Participate in program management teams that may include purchasing, information security, legal, and administrative functional areas. This is an individual contributor role and does not have people management responsibilities.
