Job Overview
My client, a leading digital platform focused on a high-engagement lifestyle segment, is seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Community to oversee and grow their expansive community ecosystem across SEA.
This C-suite-reporting role is crucial for their regional expansion and impact.
Responsibilities- Define and execute the strategy for scaling thousands of communities on major digital platforms (e.g., closed groups on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook) across three key markets.
- Lead a team of Community Managers and build high-trust partnerships with key influencers and brand partners to drive joint initiatives.
- Design and run both online and offline programs (workshops, campaigns) to increase user loyalty, trust, and active participation.
- Act as the voice of the community internally, using data and KPIs (retention, satisfaction, growth) to inform product development and measure success.
The client is looking for a leader with 8+ years of relevant experience, including:
- Proven success building and scaling digital communities across platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook Groups.
- Strong background in people management and leading teams across multiple regions (SG/MY/ID experience is a major plus).
- Expertise in influencer marketing, social media marketing and running engaging community programs/events.
- A genuine passion for the specific lifestyle segment the platform serves and an analytical approach to community health and growth.
