Our mission is to modernize uniforms through sustainability, digital tools, and future-ready design — and we’re looking for ambitious talent to grow with us.
Founded by Women’s Hall of Fame inductee Esther Tay, we blend heritage craftsmanship with innovation to create apparel that empowers people and elevates brands. From iconic airlines to global athletes, our designs move with purpose and reflect brand values.
There are two key lines:
- ESTA Signature – fully customized uniforms that enhance corporate identity.
- R2W (Ready to Wear) – stylish, economical options with quick turnaround for front- and back-of-house needs.
Backed by design expertise, branding know-how, and seamless logistics, ESTA delivers end-to-end solutions in uniform design, production, and delivery — always with sustainability and excellence at the core.
About the Role
ESTA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandiser with a background in garments or apparel production. This is a dynamic role that blends merchandising responsibilities with opportunities in sales, new business development, and account servicing.
You’ll be at the heart of our client projects, managing everything from sizing and fittings to vendor coordination and production, while also gaining exposure to client-facing opportunities, industry training, and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Coordination
- Manage sizing, measurement, fittings, and alteration processes (in-house and off-site, male & female uniforms).
- Liaise with clients, sales teams, and workshops to align expectations and ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain accurate records for all fitting and alteration requirements.
- Work with local and overseas factories to track progress, specifications, and timelines.
- Oversee garment construction stages, lap dips, fabric testing, pre-production samples, and pre-shipment prototypes.
- Ensure all production runs follow clear and accurate tech packs.
Order & Inventory Handling
- Process and track bulk, top-up, ad-hoc, and special request orders.
- Monitor inventory levels, shipments, and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure project deadlines and delivery lead times are met.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Coordinate with QA teams to meet quality benchmarks and compile reports.
- Ensure fabrics and trims meet standards through accredited third-party testing.
- Prepare purchase orders, production memos, and weekly project updates.
New Business & Account Servicing (Growth Track)
- Support sales pitches and proposals, shadowing senior team members in client meetings.
- Gain direct exposure to account servicing and client relationship management.
- Play a role in securing new clients and expanding ESTA’s market presence.
Travel (as needed)
Occasional travel to overseas factories may be required to supervise production, quality checks, and shipment timelines.
What ESTA is Looking For
- Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or related field.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight timelines.
- Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful team player with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable managing documentation and order tracking systems.
- Willingness to travel for project or client requirements.
Motivated candidates who may not meet every single requirement but have the drive to learn and grow are welcome to apply.
What ESTA Offers
- Career Growth Pathway: Clear progression to Senior Merchandiser / Account Manager roles.
- Training & Development: Exposure to new business development training, client-facing skills, and industry events.
- International Exposure: Opportunities to work with overseas vendors and clients across hospitality, aviation, and corporate sectors.
- Work-Life Balance: 5-day work week + time-off-in-lieu flexibility when projects are successfully completed.
- Convenient Location: Central office near Commonwealth MRT.
- Dynamic Team Environment: Collaborative, growth-minded culture where your contributions are valued.
If you’re ready to combine merchandising expertise with opportunities in sales and business growth, we’d love to hear from you.
