Overview

Vice President, Capital Formation – Investors Relations & Business Development at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), based in Singapore. CIP is a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments and focuses on raising capital to support its investment strategies across APAC and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with existing investors as part of both current and new CIP fund commitments.
  • Build out the universe of investors with new investors, present fund strategies, undertake due diligence with the support of CIP’s due diligence team, and structure side letter requirements including co-investments.
  • Undertake fundraising dialogues and processes across CIP’s equity funds as well as CIP’s credit fund strategies.
  • Manage stakeholders as part of fundraising due diligence, requiring close collaboration with other CIP teams (notably investment teams).
  • Strategically own and lead a portfolio of institutional investor relationships.
  • Drive investor engagement across multiple geographies, with potential country or regional leadership responsibilities within 12–18 months.
Qualifications

We seek a driven, collaborative individual with a Master’s in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a reputable university, and at least 8–11 years of full-time experience in a similar institutional or fundraising role within a financial institution.

  • Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in other Asian languages is an asset.
  • Experience working in the APAC region, preferably within Greater China, Southeast Asia, or Australia and New Zealand.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including advanced problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors and internal teams, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated, with thoroughness in all aspects of work.
  • Deep interest in fundraising for renewable energy projects and private equity, with a positive approach to working in an international, growth-oriented environment.
