Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on technical equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime. Installation and Setup: Engaging in the installation and setup of new technology-based equipment or systems. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Conducting diagnostic tests and analysis to identify the root cause of technical issues and applying systematic problem-solving methods for resolution. Documentation: Accurately recording and documenting all service, repair, installation, and hardware failure instances for compliance and quality assurance. Liaise with HQ to ensure that all products and solutions are performed both functionally and technologically. Technical Support: Providing on-site assistance or guidance to clients or team members regarding hardware and software use and technical issues. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards while conducting work. ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES Have prior experience in technician. Interpersonal communication with project management skills desired Initiate and capable of problem-solving. Effectively oversee various priorities with precise timelines. A good mix of technical ability and customer interaction skills is preferred. Project management knowledge will be an advantage. Able to travel on short notice. Qualifications & Experiences Experience in networking and software is essential. Professional Certificate ITE, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication), Information Technology, Computing or equivalent. 2nd language ability preferred to communicate and liaise with HQ. Preferred experience with IP-based networks and understanding of Network and Application Management protocols, including Server (UNIX or Linux). Additional experience in security, Storage and Video technologies is highly desirable Experiences in C++, and Java programming, will be a plus. 1 to 3 years of industry or technical experience (network engineer, network administrator, system administrator or similar surveillance / IT-related job function)
