Job Purpose As a core member of the Resource Development (RD) Team, you will report to and work closely with the Head / Assistant Head, and share collective responsibilities in meeting the society’s fundraising objectives. In particular, you will be responsible for the development, execution and optimisation of the Singapore Red Cross’ (SRC) digital fundraising and donor engagement strategy across various online/offline channels. The position plays a crucial role towards SRC’s financial sustainability to support its mission in serving the vulnerable community, by leveraging digital platforms to drive donations, donors’ engagement and maximising fundraising opportunities across various channels to meet the set digital fundraising KPIs. Job Responsibilities Digital Fundraising Develop and execute digital fundraising strategies by acquiring new and engaging existing donors to generate sustainable financial support for SRC programmes and events. Plan, manage, review and optimise online fundraising campaigns and initiatives across multiple platforms, including but not limited to crowdfunding, payment gateway, social media, website, email and direct mailer to acquire, renew and retain donors. Create compelling fundraising appeals, stories and content to inspire donations and reach a wide range of potential and current donors / supporters. Monitor and analyse the donors data insights to optimise the effectiveness of the fundraising campaigns, track performance metrics and identify future opportunities. Work closely with the Corporate Communication & Marketing team on content development and creative design. Others Collaborate within the RD team and across functions or programmes, to integrate online fundraising with offline fundraising, and align holistically with the organisation directives and initiatives. Engage and collaborate with volunteers to strengthen community fundraising efforts and research on industry trends and best practices. Project team member to develop and implement the donor management system. Stay informed about emerging trends in philanthropy, online fundraising, digital marketing, donors’ behaviour and best practices, incorporating innovative strategies to enhance fundraising effectiveness. Support RD events before and after office hours (may be asked to work weekends when necessary). Job Specifications Experience & Qualifications Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related fields. Non-degree holders with a strong track record, relevant fundraising experience and demonstrated proficiencies will be considered. Proven track record of successfully executing online fundraising, eCommerce or digital marketing campaigns. Excellent written and spoken English and a 2nd language (Mandarin, Malay or Tamil) with the ability to craft compelling and clear fundraising appeals and donor communications. Proficient in fundraising systems and platforms, such as online fundraising platforms and donor management systems. Proficient in data analysis, tracking performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Illustrator & Photoshop), Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Canva is an advantage. Additional Skills & Knowledge Familiar with Singapore's fundraising regulations, including the Charities Act and guidelines from the Commissioner of Charities. Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, fundraisers and volunteers. Desired Behaviours Passion for humanitarian work and supporting meaningful causes.
