Supplier Quality Professional

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

SQP oversees critical and non critical supplier mainly mechanical parts in. SQP is responsible in leading before and after FAS (First Article Submission) qualify and monitor quality performance of new / existing suppliers and ensure uninterrupted supplies of materials and services. He/ She should be able to foster close relationships with suppliers and partners and be able to communicate their value to the company.

1. Lead and Drive First Article Submission for new and existing supplier
2. Supplier Quality Professional develop Quality plan such as Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP) to new supplier. Perform supplier audits such as QMS, Process and HSE. This will involve visit/audit and assessing their capability and FAI. SQP shall work with Sourcing and Engineering, to engage and educate suppliers/sub-contractors.
3. Lead quality performance review
4. Worked closely with suppliers, to monitor conduct audit for vendor performance. Conduct in process audit and drive for closure of audit findings and continuous improvement and reduction of COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality). Lead the discussion with the suppliers and ensure timely response is executed to deliver result to our internal customers. Guide Procurement and team for supplier performance review process.
5. 3. Supplier Development.
6. SQP shall drive for vendor development, identify and develop new special process to meet turnkey objective and reduce leadtime of supplier.
7. 4. Analyze supply market.
8. SQP shall propose and execute creative ways to improve supplier process which creates financial value to the organization.
9. 5. Maintain good relationship with stake holders and customer/s
10. SQP maintain good relationship with stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering and Quality. Work with cross functional teams in resolution of process and quality issues related to design, application and manufacturing process. Develop quality consciousness and impart application of quality tools such as FMEA, 8D.
11. 6. Develop Product Quality Control Plan
12. SQP shall also be in charge in developing Quality Control Plan according to the requirements of the customer. He/She shall ensure that required processes and documentations and surveillance points are identified in the QCP. He/She shall liase closely with the customer during development of the new QCP and revision of the existing QCP and its approval (internal and Customer).
13. 7. Customer /Third Party Inspection coordinator
14. SQP shall manage Customer and Third Party inspection of products/parts. He/She shall ensure that each Quality Control Plan activity which requires surveillance points are monitored and conducted accordingly. He/She will liase and communicate closely with the internal and external customers to ensure that TPI inspections are executed according to the plan schedule.
15. 8. Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the superior.

1. Must complete minimum training required specified in Employee Qualification and OJT Form No. S 1-026F.

1. Education : Minimum Degree in Technical/Engineering course preferably Mechanical Engineering
2. Communication : Fluent both in oral and wriiten English communication
3. Experience : Minimum 5 years of working on the same field . Experience in Oil and Gas manufacturing is an advantage.
4. Experienced as Internal Auditor or Supplier Auditor is an advantage
5. With API or ISO Certification is preferred
