What The Role Is
You analyse and integrate data for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in the information environment.

You analyse and integrate data for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in the information environment.
What You Will Be Working On

  • Liaise and coordinate with information agencies across MINDEF/SAF and Whole-of-Government (WOG)
  • Monitor and lead a team to analyse threats and support information response plans
  • Direct and coordinate the conduct of trend analyses
  • Formulate assessments on current events and incidents
  • Sense-make key insights from various information sources

Challenge(s)
  • Quickly understanding ongoing developments and conversations in the information environment
  • Combining qualitative analyses with technical knowledge
  • Remaining steady under time pressure
  • Being flexible and adaptive to changes in a rapidly evolving information landscape

What We Are Looking For
  • Education in Mass Communications or Social Sciences (e.g., Political Science, International Relations, Psychology, Economics)
  • At least 10 years of work experience in a related field

Strong interpersonal, writing, leadership and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapid changes
  • Strong foundational knowledge of information systems and data analytics methodologies
  • Understanding of overarching intelligence processes
  • Good awareness of Singapore's political, defence, and security developments as well as current affairs and the regional/international media environment is advantageous
