Head, Technology Resilience Strategy Job ID: 36348 Area of interest: Technology Job type: Regular Employee Work style: Office Working Job Summary Define, develop and embed a comprehensive Technology Resilience Strategy and roadmap for the bank globally. Drive the Technology Resilience Strategy to enhance the bank's capabilities in alignment with key market regulatory guidelines, obligations and commitments. Cover and influence areas such as Data Centre resilience strategy and rationalisation, cloud resiliency, network & infrastructure resiliency, data resiliency, technology resilience testing strategy, prioritized recovery models, governance of the resiliency strategy, alignment with Group Resilience, and wider T&O programs. Key Responsibilities Business Develop and deploy the Technology Resilience Strategy in alignment with business requirements and test critical technology services end to end. Drive structured training and communications to senior leaders. Engage with Group Resilience, Global & In‑Country CIOs, Group Operational, Technology and Cyber Risk, Global Head Technology & Operations, SCB Country CEOs and GBS. Support related change projects stemming from the Technology Resilience Strategy. Develop and drive Technology Resilience programmes/projects to support the Group Resilience agenda. Forge deep relationships with T&O stakeholders and incorporate their requirements into the strategic roadmap. Processes Establish alignment across Technology in line with the Technology Policy. Support updating Technology Policy and Resilience Management Standards. Drive identification & evaluation of top issues, threats and risks. Ensure proactive capabilities and plans to prevent realization of associated risks. Embed strategic technology resilience requirements into the eSDLC. People & Talent Promote innovative solutions and a lean, start‑up mindset. Facilitate on‑the‑job learning and transfer of best practices. Self‑starter who drives programmes to completion with minimal supervision. Set control environment for Technology Resilience across Business and Functions. Manage control standards and metrics, review annual Risk and Control Self‑Assessment. Escalate threats to Technology Resilience to the appropriate NFRC. Review and challenge implementation of controls and processes. Governance Ensure compliance with operational risk framework and group policies. Support assurance activities and audit requirements. Integrate values, standards and code of conduct into the framework. Represent Group Resilience at governance forums. Monitor and report operational risk profiles to board and senior management. Assess risk transfer options and validate risk response strategies. Escalate potential threats to Operational Resilience. Provide governance reports. Regulatory & Business Conduct Assess new and updated regulations and review existing processes. Embed highest standards of ethics and comply with all applicable laws and guidelines. Identify, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Deep understanding of Service Response and Recovery. Ability to drive strategy from ideation to execution. Effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders.
