Finance Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis, Mandai Nature Mandai Nature is a Singapore‑based non‑profit conservation organisation jointly established by Temasek and Mandai Wildlife Group. The organisation is the conservation arm of Mandai Wildlife Group and was created to advance biodiversity protection in Singapore and Asia. Through impactful programmes and innovative partnerships, Mandai Nature strives to protect nature and inspire action. Role Overview The Finance Manager will support the Deputy Vice President, Finance & Governance in building and delivering a high‑quality financial planning, analysis and reporting function. The role involves providing timely and accurate financial reports to programme leads, donors and senior leadership, ensuring rigorous grant risk management, and supporting the organisation’s financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities Support the annual budget and forecast process, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources, financial sustainability and compliance with relevant regulations. Liaise with stakeholders (programme leads, HR, IT, etc.) to ensure budgets and forecasts accurately reflect programme needs. Provide finance inputs and guidance to the donor budget proposal process to produce high‑quality proposals that include necessary shared costs. Generate monthly financial performance reports for programme leads and senior leadership. Analyse variances between budget/forecast and actuals, recommending actions to keep budgets on track. Support donor reporting, such as annual financial updates and reporting packages. Develop and leverage reporting tools such as Power BI to produce timely and accurate financial reports. Perform finance due diligence on grant partners to ensure eligibility for Mandai Nature grants. Conduct surprise audits on grant partners to verify that funds are used appropriately per grant agreements. Review grant partners’ financial reports. Lead or support business process and system improvements when needed. Execute other special projects or ad‑hoc tasks that arise. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy or a relevant discipline. Minimum five years of professional experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Experience with non‑profit organisations is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong budgeting, analysis and reporting experience required. Proficiency with systems and applications. Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders. Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Logical and analytical mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High integrity and a strong sense of accountability. Team‑player who is willing to roll up sleeves to help colleagues. Can‑do attitude, keen to learn, collaborative and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills. Passion for conservation and biodiversity with a commitment to measurable impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
