Director, Energy and Infrastructure Group

Summary

Contribute to the origination and execution of project finance transactions (arranging & advisory) in the Energy & Infrastructure Group, covering the Asia region with a focus on India, under the supervision of the MD in charge of India and the Head of EIG Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify financing and advisory opportunities in the region, especially in India.
  • Originate project finance transactions for Greenfield and brownfield projects in Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, and Infrastructure, including refinancing and acquisitions, in roles such as advisor, arranger, and financial advisor.
  • Manage all transaction aspects, from negotiating term sheets to financial modeling, due diligence, documentation, and achieving Financial Close.
  • Generate additional business for other Crédit Agricole CIB departments related to the projects, such as GIB, forex, interest rate hedging, and DCM.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, supporting regional business growth, including preparing marketing materials.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies, including Hong Kong Compliance manual and Financial Crime Policy.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge and complete mandatory training to remain qualified.
  • Avoid actions that could jeopardize certification of fitness and properness.
  • Participate in the annual certification process.
  • Follow conduct rules as prescribed by regulators.
