We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Energy and Infrastructure Group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project finance, with a strong focus on the Indian market.

  • As Director, you will be responsible for originating and executing project finance transactions in the Energy & Infrastructure Group, covering the Asia region with a primary focus on India.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in project finance, specifically in the sectors of Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, and Infrastructure. You should have excellent influencing and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong business development/sales skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying financing and advisory opportunities for the team in the region, with a primary focus on India.
  • Originating project finance and related transactions for Greenfield and brownfield projects in key sectors, including refinancing and acquisition transactions.
  • Executing all aspects of said transactions, from negotiation of the term sheet to Financial Close.
  • Generating side business for other departments of the bank, where appropriate.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Developing and maintaining new and existing client relationships to support the team in growing business in the region.

Additionally, you will be responsible for complying with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including completing mandatory training.
