Overview About BitMEX BitMEX stands as a globally leading exchange for crypto derivatives, offering traders a professional-grade trading platform. Since its inception in 2014, BitMEX has maintained a security record with “no coin lost, ever”. Our platform caters to cryptocurrency derivatives traders by providing low latency, deep liquidity, and maximum availability. BitMEX offers more than 100 derivatives contracts, 16 pairs for spot trading, and interoperability across 30+ cryptocurrencies. In 2015, BitMEX popularised the Perpetual Swap, which has become a widely traded crypto product. Since 2021, BitMEX has regularly published on-chain Proof of Reserves and Proof of Liabilities to demonstrate that funds available exceed total client balances. The Product Management team drives product initiatives from conception through roadmap prioritization to execution, collaborating with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional trading experiences for sophisticated retail traders. The primary role of the Senior Product Manager is to champion these initiatives, driving impact and launching products across the BitMEX global platform. You will act as the crucial cross-functional link , bridging business strategy and engineering teams, while collaborating with design, sales, marketing, and customer support to deliver remarkable trading capabilities. Responsibilities Research into competitors and use client feedback via Sales and Customer Support teams to identify product gaps and opportunities for the exchange Work closely with engineering teams to optimise execution of the product roadmap Regularly launch new products and features, followed by assessment of performance and further iterations Overseeing and owning the full delivery from idea generation to execution, ensuring collaboration with relevant teams throughout the business (FinProd, Product Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Legal, etc.) Qualifications 5+ years of Product Development / Management experience within trading, financial products or FinTech space. Bachelors or Masters Degree (Sciences, Engineering preferred) Ability to translate customer needs into business objectives and product requirements Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Derivative trading knowledge is required Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Product Manager level position Why BitMEX?
