Role Overview:
Our Commodities and Energy Trading practice in Singapore seeks an experienced Commodity Trading Data & AI Engineer. The team primarily supports Tier 1 Energy, Metals/Mining, and Agricultural traders across APAC with strategic, digital, and operational projects. We are expanding our Data Engineering capabilities and are looking for motivated professionals eager to work in a top-tier global management consultancy.

This role offers opportunities to solve complex data challenges, support team growth, and contribute to our practice’s strategic direction, including leadership responsibilities at higher levels.

What you will be doing
  • Lead data engineering and AI projects for commodity trading clients.
  • Design automated analytics and risk management systems.
  • Build data pipelines and reporting solutions.
  • Support broader consulting engagements with technical expertise.
  • Drive digital transformation across trading operations.
Your skills and experience
  • Background in commodity trading roles (trader, operations, analyst).
  • Strong Python/SQL programming and data engineering skills.
  • Experience with AI/ML in trading contexts.
  • Knowledge of trading platforms, data feeds, and risk systems.
  • Ability to deliver both consulting projects and technical solutions.
