Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE programs and policies tailored to high voltage substation construction activities.
  2. Ensure project compliance with relevant local and national health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
  3. Provide best practice HSE solutions, monitor daily activities, and report to maintain high HSE standards in the field.
  4. Conduct regular risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
  5. Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor compliance, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  6. Monitor and review the implementation of HSE standards at high voltage substation construction sites.
  7. Lead project meetings starting with a Health & Safety moment, initiated via our dedicated HSE app.
  8. Ensure all on-site employees, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors have requisite safety training, emphasizing hazard awareness.
  9. Promote a collaborative safety culture across the project team, including clients and owners.
  10. Establish a zero-tolerance safety culture.
  11. Implement health and safety assurance processes focusing on leading indicators to develop risk mitigations.
  12. Proactively supervise site activities to address safety concerns and risks.
Qualifications
  1. Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin.
  2. Willing to be based in Taiwan on-site.
  3. Degree in HSE, project management, civil/mechanical/electrical engineering or similar.
  4. Minimum 10 years’ HSE experience with high voltage substation projects.
  5. Knowledge of HSE project management tools and techniques.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS-Project.
  7. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
  8. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
