Senior Site Engineer

The Senior Site Engineer assists the Deputy Project Manager with monitoring the progress of site works and manpower-related aspects of the project.
Responsibilities- Monitor and review the master construction program and prepare a catch-up program if applicable.
- Monitor and supervise engineers/foremen; ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards; check quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
- Prepare a detailed program for the site team to follow and complete on time.
- Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with the technical team.
- Prepare detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
- Coordinate between subcontractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower, material, and equipment demands to meet schedules.
- Liaise with consultants on submissions related to structural works and with the Technical Department.
- Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirements, and control usage and wastages on site.
- Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
- Identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant teams/departments.
- Ensure that site works are completed to high quality standards and in compliance with safety requirements throughout the project.
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in building projects.
- Eligibility: Must have completed at least 1 cycle of the project with at least $100M.
