Principal Investment Officer

• As the Principal Investment Officer at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), you will play a crucial role in expanding client relationships within the private-sector infrastructure sector. Your responsibilities will involve leading and/or supporting investment projects, identifying and structuring investment opportunities, and maintaining a strong project pipeline across various sectors and geographies.You will be reporting to the Director General of the Project and Corporate Finance Clients Department, Global (PCF). Your role will require you to lead project teams consisting of legal, technical, and safeguard specialists to conduct due diligence for investment proposals. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting research on projects and clients, arranging client meetings, and supporting internal Bank coordination through information exchanges and teamwork.To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 15-20 years of relevant work experience in corporate/project finance, preferably gained at commercial/investment banks or international financial institutions. A master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, along with strong project leadership skills and the ability to engage with client counterparties at various levels.Your financial, analytical, modeling, and credit assessment skills will be essential, along with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
