Overview

The role focuses on operational support for client platforms, incident response, and system administration to enable software distribution, patch management, and migration activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting for client platform related problems.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, investigate and provide temporary and/or permanent resolution, with timely status updates to relevant parties.
  • Perform service requests related to client platforms.
  • Monitor the service level, document and maintain the configuration of systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
  • Follow up with vendors on hardware replacements.
  • Perform local server administration to facilitate software distribution and patch management services.
  • Ensure service levels meet requirements; propose and implement action plans when required.
  • Establish facility management standards/best practices to ensure operation consistency across project and facility management teams.
  • Support hardware refresh cycles and device replacement.
  • Support migration scheduling, user communications, and post-migration validation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Electrical / Electronic, Information Systems or equivalent discipline.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in desktop support skills in Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook and desktop productivity tools.
  • Good project management and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within targeted time-frames and maintain high levels of professionalism.
  • Resourceful, independent, responsive and proactive.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across projects, control teams and customers.
