With a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, we are expanding our engineering division to strengthen project execution capabilities.Role Overview The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the full cycle of engineering and project execution activities-from design and process enhancement to technical troubleshooting and implementation. The role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate engineers to grow within the Oil & Gas sector while contributing to impactful projects that drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities Manage and execute assigned engineering projects, including process optimization and plant improvement initiatives. Design, develop, and review mechanical systems such as pumps, piping networks, and process equipment. Conduct troubleshooting, performance analysis, and inspection of mechanical systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards. Support the planning and implementation of major CAPEX projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation to support project reviews and audits. Liaise with cross-functional teams-including maintenance, production, and safety departments-to ensure smooth project execution. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial Engineering environment. Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia ; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking partners and vendors. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Familiarity with CAD software , P&ID , piping isometric , and equipment GA drawings . Capable of preparing structured engineering reports and performing technical data analysis. Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to teamwork and continuous improvement.
