Professor of Metabolic Health – Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine Join us as a Full Professor of Metabolic Health and lead a flagship research programme at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Singapore's premier biomedical hub. The Role Research Leadership: Establish and lead a pioneering, externally funded research programme in metabolic health, focusing on areas such as endocrinology & hepatology, metabolic oncology, metabolic syndrome, age‑dependent precision nutrition, and nutrition‑driven epigenetics. Academic Excellence: Undertake high‑quality translational research with a focus on novel interventions, providing unique insights into the aetiology and pathophysiology of metabolic diseases within Asian populations. Education & Mentorship: Contribute to the educational mission of LKCMedicine by mentoring postgraduate students and teaching within an innovative, team‑based undergraduate medical curriculum. Collaboration & Impact: Foster strong internal and external collaborations to translate research discoveries into clinical practice and public health policy, both locally and globally. Person Specification MBBS/MD and/or PhD. Relevant post‑doctoral or clinical experience. Senior researcher with at least 10 years of successful principal investigator or industry experience. Significant record of translational clinical research and teaching with high scientific achievement in metabolic medicine, nutrition, and diabetes research. Ability to supervise research staff and students. Strong communication skills and appreciation for constructive teamwork. Willingness to participate in postgraduate and undergraduate education and training. Experience supervising graduate students to successful completion of PhDs.
