We are at the forefront of commercializing atom-interferometry technology to build robust, portable sensors for critical applications in resource exploration, infrastructure monitoring, and navigation. We are a team of highly dedicated physicists and engineers, and we are looking for a visionary and experienced leader to join us in scaling our engineering and product development.

As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the Co-founder & CTO to drive the technical roadmap and execution of our quantum sensor products. You will be responsible for leading and growing our engineering team, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle from R&D to field deployment. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader to shape the future of a company at the intersection of fundamental physics and real-world industrial applications.

• Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of physicists, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Work with the CTO and CEO to define the long-term technical strategy and product roadmap. Ensure alignment between engineering goals and business objectives.
• Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, including system design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing. Ensure products meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
• Project Management: Implement and manage agile and efficient project management workflows to ensure timely delivery of products and milestones.
• System Integration: Drive the integration of complex subsystems, including ultra-cold atom sources, laser systems, vacuum chambers, and electronics, into a compact and robust field-deployable sensor.
• Quality & Reliability: Establish and maintain high standards for engineering quality, documentation, and reliability testing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the R&D, business development, and operations teams to translate complex scientific principles into scalable, manufacturable products.

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's or Ph.D. is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing and scaling technical teams.
• Strong background in hardware product development, preferably with experience in high-tech, deep-tech, or complex instrument manufacturing.
• Experience with one or more of the following: quantum technologies, cold-atom physics, photonics, ultra-high vacuum systems, precision electronics, or real-time data acquisition and control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to commercialization.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a significant plus.
