Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with strong expertise in Banking Payments domain application development. The role will be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery of business solutions and system capabilities, ensuring high-quality implementation aligned with enterprise design principles, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan technical deliverables (including system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project requirements within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate across application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
• Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.
• Provide status updates related to technical delivery.
• Partner with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialists to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements.
• Partner with Architects and Development Leads to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.
• Partner with Development Managers to manage application teams building enhancements.
• Partner with Test Manager to ensure SIT, UAT, performance/load testing and security testing with quality results.
• Manage the technical implementation plan across application teams to ensure smooth production cutovers and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain documentation adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards.
• Escalate issues that impact project schedule and propose workarounds/resolutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams.
• Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders.
• Experience in banking industry, Banking Payments Domain; Java Spring Boot and Microservices will be a plus; experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or similar large project implementations.
• Proven delivery-focused, results-oriented mindset.
• Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional and technical specifications and systems development/testing (aggregate 8+ years).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Related professional/technical qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
