We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Delivery Manager with good knowledge & experience in Murex project to service our client, a top investment bank in Singapore with key responsibilities given as below:

  • Manage all aspects of project and change request engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
  • Continually manage project and change request expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and change request team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
  • Full project life cycle ownership to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage all aspects of the projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Prepare a detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
  • Ensure assignment of adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the project management team meetings.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Manage project scope and change.
  • Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
  • Ensure that projects and change requests are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
  • Manage project and change request issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Proven working experience in IT project management in a banking environment and in treasury products related.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/ PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Murex knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation.
  • Good understanding and experience in software development life cycle/ software testing life cycle.
  • Highly effective communication with technical stakeholders, proficient communication with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
