What the role is:

You will oversee the planning and provision of commercial and social communal facilities in HDB towns and estates to ensure that they serve the needs of residents and contribute to vibrant neighbourhoods.

What you will be working on:

You will play an integral part in the planning of commercial facilities and social communal facilities for upcoming public housing developments across various HDB towns and estates. Your work will include the rejuvenation planning for existing estates, conducting the feasibility and impact studies for redevelopment projects, and conduct financial viability analysis to support decision-making. You will also be involved in assessing ad hoc proposals and requests for commercial and social communal facilities, as well as contributing to long-term planning studies aimed to shape the future of mature estates.This role will require close collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders to ensure alignment in planning objectives and the co-development of building plans. In addition, you will be required to handle public feedback and enquiries related to the provision of commercial and social communal facilities in HDB towns.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent candidate with strong analytical, communication and writing skills. A background or work experience in town/ urban planning, real estate or related fields would be an advantage. You should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, balancing multiple priorities, and contributing to both current and forward-looking planning efforts.Successful candidate will be offered a 1+1 year contract.All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
