Senior Speech and Language Therapist Company Description Bridging the Gap Intervention is an all-inclusive intervention center for children with special needs. Our team of early intervention educators uses various intensive and effective early intervention programs to progressively help children overcome developmental disabilities, learning, and communication difficulties. Our integrated intervention combines school readiness programs, child speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, educational therapy, social skills training, and multi-sensory learning activities suitable even for toddlers. These customized programs aim to achieve quality learning, leisure, and recreational care in a warm, safe, & caring environment. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, located in Singapore. The Senior Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children. Daily tasks include assessing speech and language development, creating individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists. Additionally, the therapist will oversee and mentor junior therapists and contribute to the development of intervention programs. Qualifications Proficiency in Speech Therapy, including speech assessments and interventions Knowledge and experience with managing Dysphagia Expertise in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders Specialized skills in Language Disorders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team Relevant certification and licensure in Speech and Language Therapy Experience working with children with special needs is advantageous Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Education Administration Programs Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bridging the Gap Intervention by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
