Domain & Solution Advisor - Extended Planning & Analysis (xP&A) & Enterprise Performance Management

We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we\'ll bring out the best in you. We\'re builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what\'s next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You\'ll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What\'s in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Do

As a Domain & Solution Advisor for Extended Planning & Analysis (xP&A) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) , you will lead strategic solution-oriented business development activities across SAP’s Planning & EPM portfolio. You will engage business process owners and solution stakeholders across Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT to accelerate customer adoption and value realization.

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Presales, Marketing, Product Management, and the Partner Ecosystem, you will support the positioning of SAP’s solutions in the extended Planning and EPM space, help shape demand, qualify deals, and guide solution-fit engagements to ensure long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities | Expectations and Tasks

  • Act as an EPM solution evangelist and SAP advocate , championing SAP’s vision for enterprise-wide planning and performance management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating domain needs into relevant SAP solution approaches.
  • Lead customer-facing solution presentations, demos, and workshops , tailoring SAP’s Planning & EPM Suite to business-specific challenges.
  • Support solution-based demand generation activities such as events, campaigns, and virtual sessions in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
  • Drive deal qualification and solution positioning in active sales cycles, contributing to RFPs and deep-dive workshops with Presales.
  • Develop end-to-end solution storyboards to illustrate value across processes and industries, leveraging SAP EPM capabilities.
  • Build internal and partner solution enablement content , helping scale expertise through reusable demos, videos, and thought leadership assets.
  • Identify new use cases and solution expansion opportunities in the installed base, while supporting net-new customer wins.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and solution competitors , contributing insights back to SAP Product and Development teams.
  • Foster collaboration across Sales, Presales, Services, Customer Success, and Partner teams , contributing to SAP’s growth targets and solution roadmap alignment.
  • Encourage customer engagement with SAP communities, reference programs, and innovation forums to strengthen solution adoption.

What You Bring

  • A strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address business and solution needs.
  • Experience in cloud EPM software design, implementation, or advisory , preferably across multiple industries or business lines.
  • Expertise in business processes such as planning, consolidation, ESG, tax, and regulatory reporting—combined with solution mapping skills.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional and enterprise-wide planning solutions in areas like HR, Supply Chain, or Sales.
  • Solid understanding of the EPM solution landscape , including tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, OneStream, Anaplan, Tagetik, or Board.
  • Experience crafting and communicating solution narratives that resonate from C-suite to end users.
  • Proven success in collaborative, hybrid work environments and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Flexibility to travel 25–50% as needed.
  • A master\'s degree in finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Deepen your expertise in SAP’s Planning and EPM solutions , including SAP Business Suite and SAP Business Data Cloud.
  • Collaborate with global teams and solution experts across regions and functions.
  • Gain insight into customer solution adoption journeys and evolving business models.
  • Build advanced capabilities in storytelling, solution use-case design, and value-based selling .
  • Experience SAP’s international, innovation-driven culture without the need for relocation.
