Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Industry Engagement Senior Executive to join our team. This role plays a critical part in strengthening relationships within our furniture and furnishings ecosystem. You will lead member engagement efforts, recruit and onboard new members, and develop meaningful partnerships that contribute to the industry's growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Member Engagement & Communications

  • Develop and implement a member engagement plan to foster strong, ongoing relationships with current members

  • Plan and execute communication touchpoints (e.g. newsletters, updates, WhatsApp, EDMs) to share SFIC's latest programmes, activities, and opportunities

  • Proactively gather feedback and insights from members to inform programme development and advocacy efforts

2. Membership Growth & Onboarding

  • Identify and recruit new members with aligned interests and growth potential

  • Lead the onboarding process, ensuring new members are welcomed and integrated into the SFIC ecosystem effectively

  • Curate and maintain updated member profiles and engagement records

3. Strategic Events & Partnership Engagement

  • Co-develop meaningful events and initiatives with industry collaborators

  • Support SFIC's key industry events and outreach efforts, ensuring strong participation and relevant programming

Ideal Candidate

  • A strategic communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a flair for community building

  • Passionate about helping businesses grow and collaborating with industry stakeholders

  • 3+ years of experience in membership relations, business development, industry associations or similar roles

  • Strong organisational and project management skills

  • Familiarity with the design/furniture/SME ecosystem is a bonus
