Assist team seniors in marketing and deal execution of project finance transactions. Details of responsibilities summarized below.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist team seniors in deal sourcing, origination and execution of financing to achieve team's budget targets and KPIs including Origination & Distribution and ESG.

• Review, formulate and prepare following work tasks: marketing/pitch proposals, credit proposals, customer deliverables, and internal credit papers. These would include analysis of project information, project contracts, financing structures, and credit/bankability assessments.

• Lead deal execution processes in lending and advisory transactions, including the conduct of due diligence, financial modelling, preparation of credit write-ups/information memorandums, term sheet negotiations, securing necessary approvals, documentation and oversee day to day transaction management.

• Co-ordinate and engage with internal stakeholders across credit, risk, legal, global product teams, and senior management to align on deal strategy and enable timely delivery of services.

• Work with MUFG clients across the region and globally. Responsible for the quality of deal deliverables externally (including presentations / proposals, deal specific deliverables to customers). Work with external clients to deliver bank products and services.

• Work with MUFG’s various departments across region and globally, including client coverage, sectors coverage, other product specialists, and credit divisions.

• Provide guidance to junior team members with respect to work tasks, supervise the performance and delivery of the assigned tasks, and help in the development of junior team members.

• Comply with compliance and internal procedures throughout deal process

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of project finance experience within the banking industry, or with accounting or consultancy firms, or relevant industry,

• Exposure to energy and utilities or infrastructure industry sectors would be preferred

• At least 5 years of experience in debt structuring, project management, financial modelling, credit analysis and documentation skill to lead lending and advisory transactions, and project bonds.

• Strong business acumen and ability to develop new revenue/cross selling opportunities, new clients to grow the business.

• Clear communication, commercial thinking, and confidence engaging clients and internal stakeholders

• Collaborative team player who can lead, mentor, and take initiative

• Degree qualified
